The lesions observed in this case correspond to a swine juvenile psoriasiform pustular dermatitis<\/strong> also known as Pityriasis rosea<\/strong>, due to the similarity of the lesions with the human disease counterpart.<\/p>\n

This disease is of unknown cause, it affects only the skin and has no pathological significance, causing merely organoleptic alteration of the carcass.<\/p>\n

The differential diagnosis of these lesions can be: swinepox, dermatosis vegetans and ringworm.<\/p>\n

Erythematous ring shaped lesions, distributed on the animal’s back.<\/p><\/div>\n

Detail of lesions in the lateral aspect of the carcass. Some of the papules converge between them.<\/p><\/div>\n
