The lesions consisted of pale pinkish protruding nodules scattered throughout the skin.<\/p>\n<p>The differential diagnosis included a neoplasia firstly, but there were also other less likely options such as Pityriasis rosea, Erysipelas or PDNS which had to be considered.<\/p>\n<p>Histopathological examination revealed that it was a malignant process: a <strong>cutaneous mastocytoma<\/strong>.
