A possible route would be through the entry of infected wildlife (wild boar) as in eastern European countries ASF and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oie.int\/es\/sanidad-animal-en-el-mundo\/estatus-sanitario-oficial\/peste-porcina-clasica\/mapa-del-estatus-oficial-de-la-ppc\/\">C<\/a>SF are endemic. Source: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oie.int\/wahis_2\/public\/wahid.php\/Diseaseinformation\/Diseaseoutbreakmaps\">WAHIS<\/a>, OIE.<\/p>\n<p>Slaughterhouse surveillance can be a key tool in detecting the presence of lesions of these diseases. Therefore, especially in game meat processing facilities and in swine slaughterhouses, it is necessary to remain alert to the presence of swine fever compatible lesions.<\/p>\n<p>For example, in cases like this one we published a while ago: Hemorrhagic diathesis in a pig carcass. Lesions were observed that could be compatible with either classical or African swine fever.<\/p>\n<p>In the event of a suspected case, refrigerated lymph node and tonsil samples should be submitted to SESC to perform a PCR and discard the presence of viruses.<\/p>\n<p>A while ago, we reviewed the <a href=\"https:\/\/sesc.cat\/african-swine-fever-lesions\/?lang=en\">lesions caused by African swine fever virus:<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/sesc.cat\/african-swine-fever-lesions\/?lang=en\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-7763\" it is very easy to observe blood resorption on the lymph nodes as a consequence of hemorrhages caused by firing.<\/p>\n<p>In this post we show a few images of lesions caused by the Classical Swine Fever virus obtained from experimental infections at the IRTA-CReSA <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cresa.es\/cresa3\/default.asp?mod=strmenu01&amp;anio=2016&amp;sub=noticia382&amp;idioma=en\">OIE CSF
