Of these, 13 were solely telematic and the remaining 108 requests corresponded included samples for laboratorial analysis.<\/strong><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>During 2018, 23 posts have been published in this blog in Catalan, Spanish and English. Of these, 9 corresponded to <a href=\"https:\/\/sesc.cat\/tag\/quizz\/?lang=en\">diagnostic challenges<\/a>. We had a total of <strong>104,898<\/strong> visits, more than double the previous year!<\/p>\n<p>Here is a summary of this year&#8217;s data. We&#8217;d like, once again, to thank the collaboration and effort of the <a href=\"https:\/\/sesc.cat\/sesc-experts\/?lang=en\">pathologists and animal health experts<\/a> from IRTA-CReSA, the SDPV and the Veterinary School of the UAB as well as the staff of the Public Health Agency of Catalonia ( ASPCAT), especially to the official veterinary inspectors who with their contributions make possible the success of this page and this service.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_3979\" style=\"width: 632px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-3979\" class=\" wp-image-8021\" src=\"https:\/\/sesc.cat\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Consultes-2018_EN.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"622\" height=\"370\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sesc.cat\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Consultes-2018_EN.jpg 755w, https:\/\/sesc.cat\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Consultes-2018_EN-300x179.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 622px) 100vw, 622px\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-3979\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Evolution of the number of inquiries received at the SESC. The bovine sector, one more year, is the one that provides the most samples, especially for the confirmation of the diagnosis of zoonoses such as tuberculosis and bovine cysticercosis. In the hunting category, the two samples correspond to boar lesions.
