{"id":5519,"date":"2020-04-24T08:22:25","date_gmt":"2020-04-24T07:22:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sesc.cat\/multifocal-necrotizing-myositis-in-a-pig-carcass\/"},"modified":"2022-03-24T18:55:55","modified_gmt":"2022-03-24T17:55:55","slug":"multifocal-necrotizing-myositis-in-a-pig-carcass","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sesc.cat\/en\/multifocal-necrotizing-myositis-in-a-pig-carcass\/","title":{"rendered":"Multifocal necrotizing myositis in a pig carcass"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In a 6-month-old pig carcass, a lesion affecting the muscles of the back and, partially, the subcutaneous fat was observed with yellowish coloration and hardened consistency.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The histopathological study showed an inflammatory lesion of the muscle tissue accompanied by necrosis, intense fibrosis and regeneration of muscle fibers: <strong>chronic multifocal necrotizing myositis<\/strong>.
