In this post we have compiled images to familiarize you with the variety of the macroscopic looks of these lesions.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Under no circumstances should this sort of lesions not be sent to the laboratory for analysis, as macroscopically it cannot be ruled out that they are<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/sesc.cat\/tuberculous-lesions-why-is-it-important-to-confirm-the-diagnosis\/?lang=en\">tuberculous granulomas<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In all the cases presented below, the laboratory diagnosis was based on the identification under the microscope of the presence of <strong>fungal hyphae<\/strong> inside the lesions, but the causal fungal species was not identified.
