In the last edition of the practical course on lesion description in pig viscera, among the viscera declared unfit for consumption, trimmed pieces of skin with the presence of skin nodules were included. Could you identify the different findings? (EV)
Image 1: Cutaneous nodule that, in section, shows an encapsulated lesion with thick, greenish fluid content.
Image 2: In this case the nodule also had a fibrous capsule but surrounding a cavity that was filled with transparent (serous) fluid.
Image 3: In this case the nodule was solid, cream-colored and moderately hardened in consistency.
