Goals

The aim of  SESC is the continuing training of official meat inspectors in their responsibility for the destination of animals and meat after carrying out ante-mortem and post-mortem inspections, in accordance with their training and experience, approved procedures and legal regulations. SESC provides diagnostic support for these actions.

SESC intends to give a comprehensive approach to the solution of the meat inspector's inquiries, for this purpose it includes two aspects:

  • Online (telemathic) inquiries.
  • Laboratory analysis: possibility of sending samples for laboratorial investigations.

In this section the functions of each of the two aspects are set out and the protocol for the submission of information and indicative deadlines for sample analysis are defined.
