In a Friesian, 11-month-old, male calf carcass from a fattening facility in Segrià (Catalonia), but originating in the Czech Republic, lesions were observed in the lung, tracheobronchial lymph node and mediastinal lymph node. (EV)
Chronic lesion, encapsulated in the lung parenchyma.
The tracheobronchial lymph node was enlarged and on section it presented this lesion, with decreased consistency in the center.
The caudal mediastinal lymph node also presented a lesion with very similar characteristics.
