A batch of goat kids arrived at the slaughterhouse in which 25 animals had similar lesions, located around the lips, conjunctiva and ears, with a nodular, exophytic and crusty appearance.

We received samples from one animal and proceeded to the histopathological study of the lesions, which allowed us to identify an extensive and severe, multifocal, proliferative and necrotizing stomatitis and dermatitis,  with the occasional presence of pustules. (AC)

Goat's kid head with multifocal nodular exophytic lesions located around the lips and eyes.

Més lesions en un cap d’un altre cabrit. Les lesions presenten un lleuger aspecte de coliflor i lleugerament costroses.

More lesions on the head of another goat kid. The lesions have a slight cauliflower appearance and are slightly crusted.

La intensitat de les lesions era variable.

The intensity of the lesions was variable.
