In a eleven months old Charolais calf, two vesicular lesions in the internal masseter muscles were appreciated.
Vesicular lesion in the internal masseter fascia.
Detail of the second lesion, very similar to the other one.

I have came across similar lesion which was since related to muscle in bovine I dictated to be C bovis
