Year 2012 summary

During 2012 SESC has managed a total of 151 queries. Of these 12 were telematic queries and the remaining 139  applications corresponded to queries including samples for laboratory analysis.

Since the migration to the Word Press platform in April 2012, SESC Case Archive has had 7476 visits with a total of 19,880 page views. It has since quadrupled the number of visits.

Below is a brief summary of the data on this year's queries:

Species distribution of queries arrived at SESC. The cattle sector, once again, is the one that provides more samples, especially for diagnostic confirmation of zoonoses such as bovine tuberculosis and cysticercosis. The pig sector has the highest number of purely telematic queries. Most poultry samples were sent  to confirm Marek's disease diagnostic.
