In a cross-breed, 2-3 years old pig a solid mass of fibrous consistency was observed in the abdominal cavity, cranial to the kidney, surrounded by numerous cysts of serous to sero-sanguinolent content. Cysts were also observed on the peritoneal serous membranes, particularly on the the mesentery.
