In a cross-breed, 11 months old, calf carcass multiple, well-defined  areas in the skeletal muscle were observed  with a pale coloration throughout the body. It mainly affected the thighs, the fillets and the chest.

Extensive areas of paleness in the skeletal muscle.

The lesions are distributed throughout the carcass and are well circumscribed.

The hind limbs are particularly involved.
