Inclusion body hepatitis

When the coelomic cavity was opened ascites and hepatomegaly were observed accompanied by paleness of the liver, which was yellow colored and friable.

Pathological examination revealed the presence of inclusion body hepatitis, caused by a Type I avian adenovirus.
