Muscle samples were submitted from an 11-month-old Friesian breed veal. The musculature had a generalized striated pale coloration. (EV)
Whitish streaks in the muscles of the hind limb.
The lesion was distributed throughout the carcass here in the shoulder.
Further details of the lesion.
The tongue muscle was also paler.

Gràcies per llegir-nos Josep. L’objectiu principal del SESC és la formació continuada dels/les inspectors/res. Aquest tipus de quizz pretenen familiaritzar-los amb les lesions que altres companys van trobant. Les repostes no queden registrades així que no s’examina a ningú.
Gràcies pels vostres correos, un servei excelent i de molta utilitat, encara que no sé si l’objectiu es examinar o informar. En aquest cas, es pot descartar muscul blanc per l’edat, miositis eosinofilica per la diana afectada i sarcocistosis per que no s’observen quistes. No cal coneixer le lesió per fer el diagnòstic correcte, tot i que està molt bé que es proposi un diagnòstic diferencial.
