In a male Friesian calf a mass located at the entrance to the pelvic cavity was observed. The mass was encapsulated and measured approximately 40x20cm. The mass surrounded the urethra.

The histopathological study showed a neoplastic proliferation with features compatible with a testicular seminoma. It is a testicular germ cell neoplasia. The growth was locally invasive and tumor cells could be observed inside the lymphatic vessels. A few normal lymphoctes could be seen infiltrating the mass.
It is a testicular neoplasia usually associated with cryptorchidism, its intrabdominal location gives it time to acquire a considerable size. It is unusual to observe it in young animals like this.
