In a lamb carcass, multifocal nodular whitish lesions are observed in the skeletal muscles of the neck, limbs and also in the diaphragm and intercostal muscles. The size varies from 0.5 cm of the diaphragm nodules to 1 cm in diameter for the subcutaneous muscle lesions.
