Cutaneous melanoma in pigs

In breeds used in biomedical experimentation (Hormal and Sinclair miniature) have been described as congenital neoplasms.

B: This image corresponds to subcutaneous adipose tissue in the histological study the presence of benign-appearing melanocytes with ectopic migration to other dermal structures was observed. Its link to the presence of a melanoma is unknown.
